What is your tow rig?

We launch with ATVs or whatever happens to have a ball on it. The skis launch the front yard, but the sportster has to use the ramp next door. The Arctic Cat 400FIS does most of the work, but we reposistion with the Arctic Cat 250s all the time. Long tows are done with a Ram quadcab 1500 4x4 360. 10 years ago, I had to pull with a johndeer lawnmower, like, Ima cut my grass in my suburban yard lawnmower. The worst tow vehicle was my 15 year old self, the lawnmower was on loan, me and the zxi took a real scary walk down a steep hill to the water, I was going to ride, and nothing would stop me that day.
The best tow, late model, I6, mild modded jeep wrangler on 30s. The worst tow, ME, with the mower coming in a close second.
Cool thread.

I tow with my '93 Toyota 4X4 "pickup" with a 4 banger. Doesn't pull the hills too well but it does the job. Truck has only 110 grand on the clock. Still doing great! It will climb a tree altough it takes a while. Low range will pull trees and has only been stuck twice. First time the snow was coming over the hood... Jeep was stuck, tractor was stuck, Silverado was stuck.. I got through the first time but didn't make it back. Was about 5' deep when I tried to come back through and once I fell through, it was all over. We ended up clearing it with a F250 with a blade. He would push in as far as he could and get stuck. I would hook on and pull him back out... over and over... Got her cleaned out though... No road maintenance at the time so we had to do it ourselves. Now they come do it for us... sooner or later. Second time it got stuck was last year... HUGE storm. I made it all the way home from Lincoln. Wife was in the hospital and I had to come take care of kids... Very bad day. Made it all the way home and got stuck in the end of my driveway when I slowed down... Had to dig her out and go back.. Great truck. Don't think I'll ever get rid of it. Not worth much to sell but worth a fortune to me! Here is a picture of the road after they came though with the grader the first time... Piled higher than my truck on the right!

My tow truck - 2007 Hummer H3 3.7 i5. Not underpowered as people think. It doesn't effect the gas mileage barely at all and you can barely tell its back there. 242hp gets the job done right.

That trailer will be a double next year...I will be purchasing anouther boat for me..This yellow one is my wifes..Even though I think I'm on it more them her...

I've heard of a few problems with that trailer, but it's sure a cool idea. A few of them have let the ski fall off while they were being pulled out of the water. Remember to hook up the safety chain before pulling it out of the water. Same as with any trailer.

There is also a lock you just give a quick turn after you get the boat on. Everything else is just a matter of more an more safety...No problems and I truly believe I made the right purchase...Easy on and off...More time on the water...I will have to see how the double is..I heard the double will not have the walk pad on it...We'll see...
