what 2 place trailer do you have? Pictures?

I'm in the process of polishing it now. But it was not that bad when I got it last year. I think the PO kept it in his garage most of the time cause his driveway was to small to keep it there with his 2 cars. The plastic fenders are still mint, so it hasn't been exposed to alot of weather.

Just bought it a few weeks ago. Put new bunks, LED tail lights and repacked the wheel bearings. Will paint next year. Maybe new tires this year. Depends on if I sell my challenger 1800 or not.

I've got my 4-strokes on a 2010 shore-lander, i'll get better pics later, its a single axle and feels a little flimsy with the two big whales on it. also my skis hang off the back. about a foot on the wake and almost 2 foot on the rxt. it pull like a dream tho and was bought brand new from the dealer when the original owner bought the skis.

i'll prob be getting rid of it here soon, I'm looking into a quad place trailer build at a local shop. also triton used to make(just recently disappeared off their site) a dual axle 3 place for 2 four strokes and one small 2 stroke.

Thanks, I was lucky enough to find it last winter and picked it up for $900, I did the bearings (as I always do with a used trailer) but it didnt need anything else. As Racer said, they are pricey, normally around hear a 5 year old dbl triton goes for $1500.
I love it, tows great, only 360lbs, with torsion axles/suspension.

I second that,

That trailer is awesome !

I have the same trailer but MY 2003. Pulls great behind my fifth wheel with the GTI and RX. It's been a good trailer and had zero issues. The double Shoreland'r models are 15.5 feet long. I think the GTI hangs off about a foot. I tend to run this one a little on the high side (full 10%) on tongue weight.

Its hard to beat a Triton Aluminum trailer. I'll measure mine tomorrow. I had to X-4's on it and now I have a 07 RXT and a 03 GTI. They hang off the back some but its no biggie. Took it to FL and back last year from KY and it pulled great. I lucked out and bought it with two parts skis on it for $800 muhahaha!! Craigslist score! My buddy has a yacht club and its HUGE!! You could put some bunks sideways up front on it for a small ski. Heres a decent picture of it. It has some rims from recstuff.com on it now. They are some 12's but there clean! :)

Also have you thought about getting a folding tongue? All the bass boat jockeys around here have them and I haven't heard anything negative about them.

Love my 95' continental double, fits my xp and spx extremely comfortable, have enough space behind the box to put a wave blaster or a super jet, would def fit 2 3seater skis on it and still be able to leave the box

There is nothing wrong with a little over hang so long, everything balances out proper. Nothing worse than, a heavy tongue lol.

Just bought this ez loader last week. 2009 model but the guy only used it to store his seadoos during winter on his lake front property. 13" good year radial tires, LED's. Fits my machines well, even enough room to put a stand up or hx on the front :-)

Well, I see a lot of trailers I like here & it shows there are some in the 15' range that would work fine.
The problem is finding one. It's early season here, but I would like to be ready when the time comes to ride.

While we are on the subject of trailers, my trailer is a pretty large one as you can see in the pics, what are your guys thoughts on adding a set of bunks sideways up front and putting another Xp up there? Is that too much weight up there?

Hmm that's good to know, didn't know it was done like that from a factory, but I wonder if that trailer was made any different to accommodate that? ... I've seen it done on just normal double trailers just didn't know if it would add too much tongue weight? Anyone here ever done it? I've seen it done with standups mostly, so made me curious if an XP would be too heavy

I doubt it. the triton was advertised as "a 2 four stroke and one light 2 stroke sit down or stand-up" it was dual axle but otherwise it was just a normal 16" double.

Oh nice that's good to know then, all I have is light two strokes, besides my Ultra 150 but I think it's only 600lbs.... I believe my trailer is 19ft so that's even better, if they made that all work on a 16ft then I would assume mine would be just fine... Thanks for the info purple

Thank you sir! I may have to do somethin like that, depends on how many people want to go ridin with me this summer, hard to ride 3 skis at once lol but I would think it's better than making a buddy pull a ski and single trailer

There ya go but sideways is too wide so I put mine backwards

I rock an old Triton myself. The one thing I dont like about Tritons is you cannot move the axle. I had two triton Elites last year, I so should have moved everything over but I was too busy at the time and the Elites are worth top $$.

Picture taken at a rest stop in Colorado on the way back from Cali, Liquid Militia team weekend last year.

LOL I hate to even post pictures of it...I'd hate to see a manufacturer start selling them!

It cost me $400 in parts and labor and my buddy didnt charge half the hours he had into it. Took a few tries to make upper part fit and work correct.

Its the only 3 round can, all aluminum, lockable holder on the planet!

I've been putting my race can's in the back of the SUV and I hate doing it, but i'm too dam cheap.

Every time I think about buying one, I think, "sheez, I can buy 20 gallons of premium with that money" and wimp out.
