I like these but you can't get them anymore. Go figure, they are only 18 years old and still going strong.

LOL, I still have the magazine ad too.

Those are very close to scuba diving booties I have. Rubber sole with Velcro straps for the top.

Does anyone else get back aches from riding their X4? Idk whether I ride too aggressively, or whether I'm just getting old, but I've noticed that every time I ride for an hour or more, the next day my whole body just SUCKS! Especially the lower back and sometimes knees and wrists. Is there anything I can do? Maybe strengthen a particular set of muscles?

Your not alone, rode my 96 xp yesterday for 2 hrs like I stole it and this morning I felt like I was 60 years old! lol I stood up the whole time hard riding and hitting boat wakes. Now the majority of my body is in pain/sore when I walk and im 18 years old. Im thinking I need to do some leg exercises and sit-ups, My back and legs are the main source of the soreness. I need to trade one of my XPs for a cruiser.

That's the problem, I still can, it's the whole next week that kills me lol

i'm 48 and if I hit chop or ride really hard my body definitely reminds me the next morning, lower back the most, my legs are a lot more resilient as long as I ride every weekend, if I take even a couple weeks off I'm pretty sore the next day.

Actually, a little yoga seems to help a little for the back, or a cold beer with your eggs.

For the longest time, I thought it was my mattress, but when my wife put about 30 min of seat time on the x4,she complained of the same back ache I've been having for years now. I want to find some core excercises. No way am O giving up riding this thing!

Romanian dead lifts, L-sit pullups , planks. Strengthen that whole midsection. Body squats for legs. Few times a week and you'll be good to go

You younger guys are screwed when you hit your 40's. I'm 6'2" 230+ (prolly on the upper end of the 230) and 41 years old. Only exercise I get is when I'm working the arms eating breakfast, lunch and dinner and the legs get it by hauling my size 13 4E feet around all day. I'm like a fat guy in a little suit on an X4. If you want a work out, ride an HX. An 8 gallon tank will last you 2.5 to 3 hours of non-stop riding if that, but that alone will prep you good for riding an X4 all day.

You'll have to show me how to lower the xp like that... airbags? Hydraulics? Hehehe

There is always a shock absorber on xpl! Much more forgiving. Mountain bike shock with dampening control. (:

I'm 27 6' 3'' 265lbs this was my first summer with my 96 xp now that it runs. Can't say I have ever been more sore than the second day after riding the first few times I went out. Could barely get on if I fell off. Now after the summer of bashing around it doesn't really phase me and have learned how to hop back on no trouble!

Besides.. Nothing spells cool more than a side mount in the surf and quickly gunning it off a wave while you swing your leg over the seat. [emoji41]

Anyone have an extra complete HX manual trim setup that is in good condition for sale that you don't want an arm and leg for?

Removed all the electric VTS from my X4 and wanting a manual setup.
