Price for 1999 Speedster, friend wants to sell me his..

I have a friend who wants to sell me a 1999 Speedster with Brand new Upholstery and running good when I have been in it. He is asking $11,000.

Does anyone have any ideas if this is a good price or not?

woah i just bought my 99 speedster in great running and cosmetic condition for $6400. Go to nada.com and look up the price. The low is like $6500 and the high is around $8500.

Those machines are a dime a dozen...I'd look around or get a better price from your friend.

Depending on the exact model number the "SK"with twin 85hp. is valued at $6120. to $6920.00 The speedster with twin 110 hp engines is valued at $6600.00 to $7500.00. This isn't adding anything but the trailer...anything extra would be added to the value. coast guard kit, full cover, Bimini top, anchor, docking lines, paddle, ect.
