Hey guys I am a noob and brand new to jet skis. I have a 1999 GTI. I was trying to test the spark plugs for spark by pulling them and cranking the engine. I cranked the engine for maybe less than a second and oil flew everywhere. I’m talking it reached the ceiling and then covered the ski completely. Massive mess. Why in the world would there be so much oil in the piston chamber that it shoots out everywhere after a single crank??? The guy who previously owned it said he ran it a few times last summer and it hasn’t been ran since. They were premixing and using oil injection because they didn’t know any better. Did I do something wrong or is there something wrong with the ski. Thanks.
