Ok,,, Here are my thoughts to lock this down. I have called Geneva Marina which is located at 4599 Padanarum Rd, Geneva, OH 44041. Phone: (440) 466-7565).
Here is there website.

There is no good Geneva-On-The-Lake website that I am finding. I am certain if we do this, we would eat at Eddies Grill. Here is a FaceBook link to them.

Here are our options.
1). If we drive our vehicles there and launch our skis/boats it will be free. This will also give us our vehicles to go to Geneva-On-The-Lake (G-O-T-L) for lunch and some relaxing time.
Or,
2). Meet somewhere to the west of Geneva (Madison, Perry, Fairport) and cruise to the marina on our toys and pay for Dockage. I was able to negotiate a rate of .58 cents per foot which is half the norm. If we cruise there, we would need transportation to and from G-O-T-L. The marina has given me number for who they use locally. I called them and they would charge us $3.00 each way.
The marina does sell fuel. The present cost is $4.43 a gallon. This has been the price all year so I expect this will remain the same price. It is 87 octane and has no ethanol in it. I run ONLY 91 and higher, but I’m not too worried to put a lower octane in the tank for a trip in the event I need fuel.
If we dock at the marina, they would like me to call the Monday before we make the cruise to make sure they save us space. For this reason, I would really appreciate a decent head count by July 14th which is the Monday before the July 20th cruise date.
3). If the water is very nice and calm, there is a metal set of steps that is right out the street that Eddies Grill is on. We can anchor and use the skis to tie other skis off and what not. If we do this, we would have no charge to do anything other than buy fuel if you need it at the marina.
Ramps: If we do option #2. There are ramps at Fairport Harbor that I believe all cost to launch from. Only ramps I know of in Perry are private. Madison has a free ramp.
As far as I am concerned this is a final decision. If this does not work for you, let me know ASPA so we can plan out something else.
To summarize:
We need to get a consensus on option #1 or #2 or #3 (water permitting).
If #2, we need to decide on where we meet up regardless of how you get there. For distance, I think Fairport would be about the furthest we would want to travel as a group. That would take up from Fairport, to Perry, to Madison, to Geneva, then to the Marina which is just past the main town of Geneva but before Geneva on the Lake.
If #3, same as #2 pretty much. Just need to decide on where we will meet up.
So now I need your input. PLEASE let anyone you know that may want to join us about the Cruise. Please get me your thoughts on the options. And let me know your thoughts on where to meet to start the cruise.
Any questions, ideas or issues please let me know..
