No oil

I guess in theory it could. I would have to look to see if it allows air into the tank or air to escape? Bench test the oil pump then that will be crossed of the list, If you want take the cap off the oil tank and that will eliminate a possible bad vent valve on top of the tank although I highly doubt that is the issue

It’s not the vent, it checked out fine.

the pump seems to be pumping fine but it only pumps the oil really fast when it’s mainly air bubbles. I’m hoping someone has another idea. I’m dreading taking the pump off again.

So update. I went ahead and replaced the other oil line since it was the only one I hadn’t replaced. I’ve been watching videos and realized I only thought I was opening the pump to full. In reality, I was only opening it maybe 30% past idle. I didn’t realize I needed to disconnect the cable to get it to full. So, I just tried and the empty oil line immediately started filling. I only let it run for 30 seconds since it wasn’t on the hose. In that time it filled a little over half way to the manifold. It also looks like the other line is staying full of oil. I’m letting it cook down now and will squirt some oil in the spark plugs and try again. Keeping fingers crossed.

I got the oil pumping and everything seems like the pump is working as it should. I took the plugs off and put them on the grounding tabs to do a compression check. I was going to do three tests in each cylinder. The first two went fine but when I did the third I think I heard a small pop and then nothing. I’m not getting any juice to my front console. Any ideas on what I did?

Check your fuses and the MPEM. Then check the battery connections.

Basically the front console should work if:
You have power from battery to MPEM (computer in the watertight box)
You connect the DESS lanyard

So if that's not working you have some issue between battery, computer, DESS, and the wires between.

Let's hope it's just a fuse.

Sorry, I forgot to give you all an update. Yes, it was the fuses at the back of the ski. I actually had three that were blown (2-20amp and 1-1amp). I replaced the two 20 amps and everything works just fine now. I took it to the lake for a quick 5 min run. I had to order the 1 amp as nowhere close had one so I'm waiting for it to come in. I am surprised that my main gauge is working with that 1 amp fuse blown. From what I've read, that 1 amp is what gives power to the front gauge cluster. My speedo hasn't worked since I bought it. The fuse is still in place so maybe it isn't actually blown. There is quite a bit of corrosion. I'll look at it closer. If it is blown, I'm wondering if maybe that is part of my speedo problem.
