I have installed a sbt 951 motor in my 98 xp.
After using about 1/2 of the break in oil/permix I did a compression test and each cyl has only 110 psi.
Will
this improve with more break in or did I just get a bad motor

Give SBT the engine or build number and I believe they keep records of all the motors built regarding the numbers at the time it left the shop.

thats pretty low, apparently those motors are to be sent out around the 140 mark. I have heard alot of people with low compression though, best bet to try with another guage and call sbt. What was the cause of the rebuild? could be another factor but if it is in both cylinders then I would assume the rings aren't sealing properly. When you call them they are going to ask you your exact break in procedure.
