i am on vacation down in florida.....over the winter i have replaced all the gray fuel lines....replaced the carb fuel filters...i am having a problem with it bogging down...it seems to only do it after it warms up....do i need to rebuild the carbs??? do i need to check the idle screws??? any help on this would be helpful... i still have 4 more days to jet ski here in florida and i want to go hit the ocean with the big surf on thurs, so i would like to get them fixed by then...also it seems if i hold the throttle at about 1/4 for a couple of mins then it seems to run fine....by the way the 2 skis i have down here are 96 xp's...and both had the same work done to them

both ki's..?, and whenhold'n at 1/4 throttle, thats the only way to get them goin?, orafter few minutes at 1/4 throttle, you can then, wrap throttle and ski/s o.k...?
Ifalway bog'n at1/2-WOT, disconnect the rectifier, see ifthat worx

yes both skis....and yes if held for a few it works fine but will go back to doing it again....where is the rectifier

when it acts up, its not convert'n to DC, so itslike, when you drive ubder a bridge w/ radio on, the static that comes thru,...similar situation....in so many words.

well i started with the rave valves...i dont think they have ever been done....i will see what that does for me...

you can dothe revaes, also, when you replaced the grey lines, and changed the internalfilters of carbs, you look in the "inline filter" and/or replace/clean the selector valve. You can bypass the fuel selector vlave, maybe that shold'n ya up...

this's weird...
you replaced the fuel lines, cleaned selector valves, and only cleaned the internal filters. Reseted the carbs back to specs..etc, and now she dont run.?
By chance, you got the fuel lines routed correctly...just a thought.

ok cleaning the rave valves did not change anything...but i did find that when it seems to be running on one cylinder, if i move the vts up and down it makes it rev normal.

It sounds like you might have a short or bad wire connection. Check the wire inside the mpem box and the wireing from the VTS box... it might have a short which stops when you operate the VTS. That is a stange problem.

Keep us posted.
