I have a 95 Seadoo Gtx and I realized the motor is loose. I can grab and shake the motor. What is causing me problems is all four mounts look tight and they do not appear to be loose. I can hear a metal on metal sound when I shake it that appears to be coming from under the stator. I have looked on the forum to find a similar problem, however, I have not been able to find one. I have also tried to find where the bolts are that attach the motor to the metal bracket that it rides on. Thank you for your help in advance. You guys have saved me a lot of money and kept me out of the stealership.

If the motor is moving, the odds are that the motor mounts are broken.

Unless the mounts to the hull area have failed, there really is no other way it can move. If it is the mounts, you will need new mounts, shims and then align the engine with an alignment tool.

There is a company that makes heavy duty mounts for Seadoo. I believe they are polypropylene as compared to runner.

Thank you for your response. Is it possible that the bolts that hold the metal bracket to the motor came loose?

Yes...I was just going to say, If the motor mounts arent lifting up then the bolts have gotten loose. you will have to pull the motor to fix it.

As Minnetonka4me said,,, Yes, it is possible.

Bottom line, you have an issue anywhere from the hull to the bolts on the engine. You will have to gig in to determine where the specific issue is..

Ive specifically had those bolts get loose on the bottom. 95 XP 720, motor was about to come clean off the plate.

You can do this with out pulling the motor just loosen mounts and push the motor to the side you should have enough room
