I actually have a Inventioneering grate on this ski now but smith mountain lake has a lot of chop so I prefer the jet dynamic grates.

I decided to go with the buckshot billet 45's. I cleaned them up and adjusted pop off. Installed the carbs fuel pump and rv oil resivor.View attachment 38634View attachment 38635

I like the way you have put a t in the rv line with the oil reservoir to top it. I've just looped mine but it's a pain to top up the oil each time, so I may Change to this setup. Quick question, When you put a t in with the reservoir do fill the lines all the way up to the reservoir with oil or leave air in there for circulation?

I filled mine all the way up. I also borrowed the idea from 1/500 and Matt.

Finally installed new vts unit, drive shaft and the skat trac pump. Had to run to lowes to get shorter bolts for the nozzles. I plan on installing the automatic bilge pump and billet outlet later today.

Installed the skat-trac nozzles 84 mm Venturi and a 87mm nozzle I can't wait to get this thing wet. I was going to get a few more rings but when I called skat trac a few weeks ago they thought that it was set up perfect.

Cut about 3/4 of a inch off of the handle bars because the poppy cover wouldn't fit.IMG_6631.JPG
Installed the billet fitting for the bilge pump and put he bilge pump in. I didn't wire it up yet I need to get a in line fuse.IMG_6632.JPGIMG_6633.JPG
Also connected the fuel inlet hose.IMG_6636.JPG
The three button holder looks awesome

New air filters match the rest of the purple!!

I've got exactly the same bilge pump. Excellent bit kit. Mounted my outlet in pretty much the same place.

One word of warning though, use a 3 way waterproof switch.
Gives you: on-manual, on-auto, off
If left in auto it will drain your battery, if left for a few days.
They work by spinning every 2m or so, if they feel resistance, i.e. water they keep pumping. If not, they just keep pulsing every 2m. Doesn't sound like much, but it adds up.

Pump and nozzle look awesome!

This is really pulling together. Super clean build. What gas tank did you end up using? Just curious I was considering trying to find a larger tank for longer cruises but no idea what fits inside that xp hull. Its a bit more cramped than the GTX. Cant wait to see some more pics!

+1

On my gtx I just soldered some water proof connector fittings on both ends so I can just pop the seat off and disconnect/reconnect it but a switch mounted somewhere on the outside of the ski would be more convenient. Most of you guys probably run a battery tender on it anyways so popping the seat at the end of the day is usually standard. I just left the quick disconnects there for battery tender and the pump. Although next time I might throw a power and ground dist block to clean up some of the wiring. All of those wires straight to the battery makes removing/reinstalling them a pita lol!

I believe the tank came out of a 96 or 97 gti or gts. I purchased both of mine from nick.

I have the hot products billet handlebar switch which is just on/off that I like on my SPX. I do wish the wire came out if the side instead of the bottom though.

Hot Products sure makes some nice stuff. A friend used to be a dealer back in the day. We need a member like Minnetonka4me to become one. What say you Nick?

I can get hot products if needed but I basically get no break after shipping from cali so I don't really broadcast it.

My personal opinion is I don't care for button holders on my handlebars. I seem to bang my hands into them all the time from aggressive riding.
