Yea Virginia wild life and game just got a new system and it don't work so they gave me a hand written yellow piece of paper. You used to be able to go to Walmart or dicks sporting good and get a temp but not anymore now it's mail it and wait five to six weeks or drive to a wild life and game headquarters.

Yea pa used to get a green sticker. Now we get a green slip to carry until we get the Reggie in the mail.

I know you need a 4th set of sponsons for that next build.

Yes I do I plan on taking my time with that 96 XP from nick that joker is going to be perfect I think I might go all stock on that on don't know yet

Ok so when I cleaned up this ski today I used the soft scrub bleach and the nonscratch scrubber on the hood and of course it worked great. So I thought why not try it on the handle bar pad and with a extreme amount of elbow grease and a lot of soft scrub and bam it looks awesome it took everything right out the pad

Ok ok so here's the story I worked this morning and then I was ready to go the lake but one of the bunks was broke ever since the Nc meet. So a 2/4 and some zip ties later we where on the road. Screw how the trailer looks, I was ready to ride.

I had a good time on the ski until I blew it up at the Florida ride. So since I'm getting ready to put this ski back together I am going to try to figure out why I could never get the ski to rev above 6800 rpms. I was talking to Matt because that's where I got the performance parts. He mentioned checking the jet size in the factory spec 2. so I'm sure I'll be posting pics and jet sizes for the factory spec 2.
I will also be adding a egt
Bigger fuel tank
Adding a pisser up front
Removing the oil tank and adding a rv loop
And a set of novi 44's

So I was one of the last to leave the NC meet. I found some nice new pressure treated 2x4s sitting near the fence. Not sure where they came from... LoL. They are now in my garage:hurray:

Haha those were mine I bought to fix my bunks. I didn't have space for them after picking up the 95xp800. It wasn't worth having them rub on the xp the whole way home in back of the truck for $6 of wood.

Received my egt fitting in the mail yesterday and the taps someone had already put into the manifold are not the right size my local hardware store said the treads were a 3/8 by 24 fine thread. I guess I need to look for another fitting or I could just drill and tap the other spec two manifold I have on the shelf. Thoughts?IMG_6283.JPGIMG_6284.JPG
The treads don't line up with the fitting that works in the manifold for the TNT pipe. And the bolt that came out is slightly larger

Be very careful with the 1/8" NPT there is a 1/8-27 NPT and something like a 1/8-18 NPT and they are not interchangeable. I made that mistake installing a diesel EGT Probe. Stupid Craftsman tap set.

The manifold is tapped to the 1/8" NPT. I'm not sure of the thread count but it's the same as the little water fittings.

The one I got from you (TNT) is correct.
The other factory spec 2 I got from Lee is tapped wrong so I guess I have to tap the other manifold i have correctly. I was just going to be lazy and use the manifold that was already tapped.

Got it from Jess I don't see the numbers on the pump or impeller. The ring on the nozzle is a 87mm.
It came off of his 99spx and this is what he said about it.

it is a prop for jumping setup so more low end and mid hit.. Still has speed just not crazy top...

Sorry man I never checked the thread size on that one it was already tapped and plugged when I got it and only ever sat on my bench. I even told you to order the 1/8 NPT thread fittings. [emoji19]

It's all good I think everybody would assumed it was tapped correctly.

You have two Spec 2 exhaust manifolds? They are not the same as a stock one.

The Magnum pumps do perform well when set up right. most people don't spend the money though unless they are racing. I have some I don't use because if you run a stick or rock through it and bend a vane or impeller then your sending it back to them in Cali with an open wallet.
