Yeah i dont mind sharing the originals. The quality is a million times better. I can try to help edit.. not sure im any good at it haha. I threw that video together quickly but if we have some good footage I'd dedicate some time to it. Overall, I wasn't very impressed with the stuff I recorded. Next meet, we'll find some big boats to jump and get some sick footage

I still get a kick out of Spim jumping back when I hit land on the 95 lol

Dam Whiskey, you sure run hard & fast, I'm privately glad that only Krispy asked to ride my ski, I would have been terrified to put your crazy ass on mine.

I might have had to call the insurance company from shore and lowered my deductible first !

fk ya I jumped ! I had a flashback moment when I saw you ride up ! see below for the side story...

I was riding the local rivers a couple years back with a friend that was totally new to ski's and we had just completed his X4 build. He was trying to do a plug chop and drift to shore so we could check them and his first two attempts he pulled the lanyard too early and started drifting down river with the current so he kept having to restart, run WOT and try again, and again.

Well, the 3rd attempt he was running WOT right at us and pulled the lanyard too late, he was heading right at me around 25mph at that point with the "oh chit" look on his face, missed me by about 6 inches, knocked Chuck on his ass, and rode about 6-8 feet up the bank into the weeds. When I saw you coming that moment was racing through my mind.
 
not sure if he has it back up & running yet, I need to pop over and see him soon since my throttle body needs some love, hopefully just cleaned up, if not i'll replace it.

The last rumor/guesstimate I heard was about 3K in damage.. but that's 3rd hand info, I was out of town for 8 days after the trip so I haven't check in with anybody.

I'll be honest, i'm afraid to ride it.
 
WhiskeyD will not put his hands on my ski!!! He can use my FTP however! I burnt myself this summer with my ski and I hope it will last me a few years without trouble so I am going to treat it very gently...

Did you guys went on long rides or you had only some fun riding buoys???

And I forgot, my back would not survive that kind of stunts!

Benji, we did a mix of touring and riding the course. Our boats really shine in the corners so it was a lot of fun to run them.

We did some long rides here and there. We rode several miles up the lake and back

Haha, I've never been on a RXT but I've given quite a few RXPX hell before. They are definitely fun and but I'm partial to lightweight toys you can sling around. I love my 250 2 stroke bikes!

Thanks for letting us use the FTP.

Is it even possible to hurt a GTI!? My buddy used to have one and we beat the piss out of it. The only throttle position it knew was WOT. Its a toy.. beat on it!
 
Well, if it breaks, I have no money to buy another one. Since I bought my dad's cottage, money is short (two houses to pay and maintain). So I will go easy on it...

Let me know when you are finished transferring these huge files back and forth.

Owning an older 2 stroke Seadoo, it's going to break. At some point it will break, you have to pay to play with these older skis.

ps... don't take my comments on your ride style as criticism, 6-7 years ago I used to put my xp through hell and back on every single ride! Age/Bad shoulder has tamed my ride style considerably to the point where now I ride like my grandpa !

I carry around a spare motor with me for the little XP :rofl:
 
I am back home in Montreal where I have my fast Internet connection and I took a sneak peak at a few of the uploaded videos. This is great! Can't wait to see them edited and posted here. This lake (reservoir?) seemed like it had plenty to ride on.

Who is Jet Pilot 96 jerking with the gas on his ski all the time? :)

And who is wearing a red cap? I am giving out some movie spoilers here...
