Damn you ride Clarks hill? That's the lake I ride daily

I spent a lot of time riding a 91 SP there as a kid. My dads family is from Augusta and has owned the lake property since the 50s or 60s. I went down one weekend last summer to check out the condition of it all and ride around. The lake is pretty much just how I remembered it.. Really clean and not very populated. I'm down to ride one weekend when the weather gets warm!

I hope I can bring my challenger up, that's if I finish it in time. Not sure if I'll be able to carry a lot of gas, but maybe enough to save someones ass if they run out But I too have a problem with tow vehicle quantity. Guess we'll see what I can come up with

Does anyone have a boat that they plan to bring? If I had another tow vehicle I would drag mine up. I think it would be nice to have a boat with us as well.

I'm in the same "boat" as everyone else, lol.

Could possibly grab a 2nd tow vehicle but that's a long way and a lot of fuel for me to tow. Would be great if someone closer is able to bring one.

The ride is becoming a toss up for me, a euro trip is planned as well but right now no direct conflict,just a question if I can break away for a 2nd trip in the same month with work/finances. Kind of unavoidable that this is a $500+ trip even with cheap fuel. I'll probably be a last minute booking at best, too early to commit anything non refundable at this point.

The landing does not have enough beds in a room for my family from what I can tell. Need at least two double beds. So we will get a close by hotel. Currently still planning on being there.

My brother is most likely in. He's planning on bringing his Mod RXP and his fresh to death mod spark. My buddy Cody from Iowa might tag along with me too. Im holding out hope for a rental house!

I'm kinda local, I live in south Charlotte so im about 45min to a hour away from Norman depending on location/traffic. Id def go scope out a house though if we can decide on one. I never booked a room at the landing since everyone seemed pretty indecisive. If we do end up throwing in on a house, I want to make sure everyone will be OK with having a few people over. A few of my riding buddies will most likely come riding with us and join for a few beers afterwards
