Did you go out in it? I have been putting off testing some ATV carb work due to the weather.

I saw these neoprene skull caps in the dive shop thought about getting one just in case . Will probably be cool until midday

Is that place staffed 24/7. I'm assuming not.

I planned on calling them about that tomorrow since if I get an early enough start Thursday there's no reason o can't just run str8 through and get there late Thursday, then I can ride Friday a.m.

Maybe we can set up a group text or use an app t ok help coordinate? My family uses groip texting all the time and also viber (app) is pretty awesome

I'm going to try to be headed that way by noon at the latest. This rain today and tomorrow is messing me up. I want to get the other hub on my double trailer replaced before I try to pull it 100 miles. I have the hub just haven't had a chance.

Barring an unexpected hiccup, I will definitely be there by noon. I wasn't originally planning on getting there real early at first but my wife needs me back as early as possible Sunday, (long story) So i'm likely going to be leaving Sunday pretty early so I get home in time to stay out of the doghouse. So i'd rather get a tank or two burned on Friday if I can.

Ski & seat-covers will be a tight squeeze, hope to pick up Ski Tues, and grabbing the seats Thursday morning on my way up, cutting it dam close !

ps,,, ya' know, cooking a big hunk of meat on a charcoal grill can be a bit tricky sometimes....
i'll leave that up to the experts on that, but usually I prefer a gas full size grill for that, more control over temp...

Having a quality grill really helps out. I bought a large big green egg last fall and I love it. Smoked beef brisket is one of favorites!! The weber charcoal grills are pretty good but you'll have to improvise a heat diffuser if you want to do something low and slow.

Well always down to the wire...I decided to call in a few hulls to get a brand new gas tank for the miller machine and my luck I had a hull that needed one, but it wont be in till Tuesday. Im also waiting on some black primer line. Thats it...everything else has been gone over about 10x. Lovely to start your machine for the first time the night before leaving to an event...lol

What's the concern/danger with a split rim? is it when taking the rim off? is it severely pressed on?

being a former tire tech, the split rims can come apart while airing them up hence it why we have a cage while airing them up. ive seen /heard 2 of them blow up and sounds like a bomb going off and can really do some damage to anything in its path. if YOU are it the path it will bust you up seriously and can kill you. there are also 2 piece wheels that are pieced together in the middle which we call widow makers. they made these split rims so that farmers can change / repair their own tires. i'm pretty sure they outlawed them by now.

So who is 100% going to be there i only see 5 cabins reserved, unless there site is wrong.

If all goes to plan (fingers crossed) who wants to help me drop the engine in that 95 and get it aligned? Lol I can pay in beer cash and food.
Oh yea I might be towing an empty trailer up [emoji57]

Oh hell no! LOL the motor is short blocked...you'll have to bring everything and the kitchen sink. Forget that...between braley and my extra skis we can keep you on a seat. You want to build this thing right not rush it.

I got no problem letting you ride my skis. The one im picking up on the way just needs a carb cleanup and tank dump. We could do it Friday night.

Anyone need anything else delivered? Spim just ordered a bin....lol Im leaving first thing weds morning so get your requests in!!!

Haha I went through two used rectifiers today and finally the third one I tried was a charm. One didn't charge and the other read 16.4 at an idle!

Yes I'm ready to wrench and put a list together. I've got a couple more tests to try and get the XPL dialed but I can always grab the GSX last minute.

I hope everyone rides my skis at least once. I'm looking to run them myself. So far I've run about a gallon of fuel out of the HX and half a gallon out of the XPL so there will be plenty of adjusting I just hope there are no show stopping breakdowns.

Matt did u say u were bringing buoys? The HX will be a blast around the course
