the path of this dam whirleycane puts it pretty close to our ride spot,
after the weekend is over i'll be following up with my landlord to make sure that the area didn't get the crap beat out of it.

ya, being in the insurance biz i'm obviously monitoring the storm pretty close, fortunately I don't have that many customers on the east coast but enough that i've been in touch with them about preparations and reminding them to get the hell out, not everyone is listening... sigh....
not that I wish bad things on the upper east part of florida, but i'll be happy when it makes the jog north and then I know at least for now that the SW portion where most of my business is will be ok. The of course we'll be watching to see if this thing makes a u-turn and heads back for a 2nd run and do more damage,, ugh.

South FL got lucky. Hurricane decreased, path went east and north sooner than expected. I'm in Jacksonville now as my wife lives here (we live separate due to work obligations), it is about 100 miles South of me. Noonish had potential to get risky.

Hah. Yeah just busting your chops. I explicitly remembered you saying that in the last ride get together and laughing out loud when I saw it because I am the same way. Out of the ski game anymore, still love lurking around here. I may take up a project this winter if I can find a good deal.

if you are only 2 hours, there is no excuse, this looks like a good area, if nothing else you might learn about a new ride spot for the future.

I'm good. Thanks to Matt I got the SPX very close to being dialed in but will be testing the big hub pump this week.
I went to put all LED lights my Triton this past weekend so I was thinking 30 minutes max since they have the push in style lights. I then found that mice had chewed every single wire in there so ended up rewiring the whole damn thing. That took about 7 hours since there are 12 freaking lights with full grounds to solder and shrink wrap on those things.
If I ever need to do that again I'm buying the pre-made triton harness for like $80.

I'm heading into panic mode but have time.
Supercharger is slipping, ordered the kit Saturday and it just showed up in the mail, hope to have it rebuilt on Thursday, plan on hitting the water 4-5 days out of the next week to get 10 hours on it so the slip can be adjusted again before the meet. The only positive thing is that I now have a legit excuse to leave work early and ride ride ride.
Like we NEED a legit excuse...
