Wow- both were insane. Red cornered harder than I could hold on and the Miller ski flat made me nauseous from hitting so hard! It was an honor for a stock guy to be able to even sit on those, let alone ride them. :driving: :hurray: :biggrinjester:
It kills me that I wont be at this meetup. The place looks awesome. And I know the people and skis are as well.

it was actually my 2nd choice, but decided the garage would come in handy for security.
mu first choice was..https://www.vrbo.com/246299 and its still available.
IMO its an excellent location, fair price, and looks like it might have a little bit of grass to pull your ski's up during the day
curious myself just because I wasn't 100% sure I picked a good location for my VRBO.
If I have the maps right my house should put me about 4-5 minutes away from the Marina which I used as my target location and worked my way out from there. There are actually some really cool locations further up the river but too far away, if I like this area well enough I might come back for another stay in the spring.

a tad more than I preferred, but splitting it 3 ways isn't too bad, I would have been fine with a 2 night minimum property but none of the 2 nighters were in the specific area that I wanted to be in.
anyhoo, $200 a night, 300 damage deposit, and $60 additional for damage insurance <that was a new one to me
assuming we don't trash the place It will run about $240 per person for 3 nights.
Which is about the same as my estimated food & fuel costs..... lol
edit, crap, now that I have the address, apparently i'm about 9 miles north of the marina, didnt' realize there were 2 marina's right in that area I thought I was right around the bend.
Good news is it gives me a 9 mile head start on a north river run, bad news i'm 9 miles further away from the lake but I have good range on my ski so I don't think I need to search for a more southern location ( LOL, i'm saying that as I have another browser window open doing exactly that)
property #2 that I listed above is actually in a perfect location in relation to georgetown marina, it looks to be about a half mile away.
