Clymer Sea Doo shop manual has some really nice detailed instructions for tear down, rebuild, etc.

But, they recommend 87 octane gas in the 92+ models...I have been using super 91, should I go to the "cheap" gas?

Also says I only have 36 minutes full throttle cruising range...that seems kinda low for 9 gallons of gas. I tend to get 2-3 hours at 1/2 to 3/4 throttle. In fact, I have been VERY pleased with how little fuel this thing uses. I go to the lake/river/beach with 10 extra gallons, and have NEVER had to top off my tank, but just "run what I brung". I know FULL throttle will suck it dry faster, but 36 minutes seems kinda quick.

That dont seem wright to me neither. my book says my boat will run 2 hours 40 min wot with I believe 25 gallons of gas. I would thank you should be close there to me. :agree:

If mine was running like yours, I should get 58 minutes...which sounds more like it. I can see burning off a tank in an hour at full throttle, I just don't see a full tank in half an hour....

Now in my Maverick (see pic to left), I can get 20 mpg, or 1 gal/mile depending on how I drive it, but I know WHY!!!

Also, I think I will stick with premium gas, especially since I am concerned that I "might" be pinging....
