You should not have to touch the adjusters from factory settings.

When is the last time the ski ran well?
Have you checked compression?
Have you checked the reeds?

Has never ran well for me in the few months I’ve had it but supposedly was “running fine last summer”

Compression is 133 on both cylinders

Admittedly I’m ignorant about what/where the reeds are so thank you I will study up on that.

All my experience with reeds has to do with snowmobiles, when you get them off shine a light behind them while the reed petals are still in the cage too make sure they are seating properly.

I’m not finding anything for reeds on a 98 gtx limited, was that a typo or where on the engine are they?
