well hours later and paint fumes kicking off it is starting to look better inside, have 2 coats on now, and it will need a 3rd coat...I am wondering why they didnt just do this from the factory, would have looked so much better, anyways this snow white builge area will really set off the newly painted motor and powder coated exhaust, the painted builge area should make cleanup a breeze after a ride, I have used this and painted boat builge areas the same exact way and cleaning up when it gets dirty is so simple ( even a cave man can do it?) anyways.....I didnt just do the builge area I painted the entire inside of the hull, It was getting to much to remove every single hose and cable so as a result of that lazyness there is some paint on them as well, but once the ski is put back together you should not be able to even notice. I think next year I may go and paint the outside, I am going to do it, its just a matter of when, it will be painted to match my truck with the exact colors. Depending on where you get your supplies from you can get this stuff at a fairly good price, most places charge $80 for a quart of the snow white paint but you can buy at the right place a gallon of it for $100.00 and it does not need clear over the top, it is a gloss top coat.....expect to pay about $60 for a quart of brush converter at the cheapest, or you can find a half gallon for around $140-160....mix ratio is 1:1 so 1 quart of top coat paint will yeild 2 quarts brushable. That is enough to paint the entire inside of the hull on my gtx doo.
