I have noted several inferences that older "gray" fuel hoses may have a degradation issue, presumedly related to using the alcohol mixed fuel, that is generating filter restricting contaminates, leading to carburation & performance problems.

iF SO, What hose is recommended, and what about any that is transparent?

Thanks,

bjr

Measure the length of fuel lines you need. Go to Auto Zone...bring a piece of fuel line with you...ask for Black Fuel line to match the diameter. The clear isn't as rugged as the black, and breaks down quicker. The old GRAY is known for breaking down with fuel use. Replace the clamps with stainless steel as needed.
