First of all. thanks for Bob's help: all the way to the owner, all the way back, custom made a cradle for transportation, and more ... Just cannot ask for more.
Now, I have my second 2 stroke: 1997 SPX. in amazing shape, show room condition. compression 150/151PSI.
Here is the baby:

Very clean! Nice pick up. Now clean those carbs, fuel selector and change the grey fuel lines. Then go let her rip!

Thanks. I will go through the carbs and fuel lines with Bob. BTW, it was his "nice pick":-)

She still has 800 miles to go before settles down at the home in Canada. The plan is to bring her back to top condition. It will be a joyful winter :-)

Looks just like mine! Only I wish mine was that clean. So much fun to ride.

I wish I had a VTS gauge with a red needle. Mine is white and hared to see sometimes.

Hey Bonmotwang , not sure if you ever responded, never saw it on any of this thread, but what did you pay for this ski?

Sorry, my friend. I was too excited on the new toy. Yes. The deal ended up at $1300 without trailer.

WOW...excellent..So clean...take care of it.. Does your VTS work?

Water Lover is checking it out. I believe VTS works.
He just told me that he checked the compression again. They are 152/152. Also check the ignition is working bright like brand new.

That's awesome...
I may buy the "Trim Fix"....my motor AND my spare motor both work, but the trim doesn't, so for now its set just about in the middle

VTS works like new, and it got a bath today after I brought it back to life. This ski was sitting in storage for years and just saw daylight for the first time again this week, it was quite a find. I had to really beat the bushes to find it for him and it took awhile but was well worth the wait.

Runs as good as it looks to, I'm getting sort of attached to it he better come and pick it up soon :)

Thanks Bob. The video is awesome. Should clean up my garage for this shining stunning machine. Otherwise I should put it in my office and just look at it during the winter, and picturing those 10 feet jumpers :-D

Start thinking about a way use my buddy's CNC shop now. :-D

First thing is a collar for the exhaust output at the back. I saw one guy did this in this forum. Looks very cool. Couldn't find the link anymore.

I will design it in Solidworks and have my buddy CNC it with our forum LOGO and oxidize it to any color except pink :-D

Any other ideas on cosmetic upgrading?

Trailer is ready for her.
