cool thanks, I'm kinda sorta thinkin bout it, but it's a 70 mile drive, which is pretty reasonable, but I should really be saving on gas

its not a short drive for me either a solid hour from my house but WELL worth the trip.

I'll drive right by about 9 perfectly acceptable boat ramps/ride spots on my way to this one... and I wouldn't do it if wasn't worth it.

20+ miles each way of beautiful twisty river runs, and weather should be ideal. But yes, i'll plan on burning thru at least 15 gallons of gas minimum. We have 4 ski's committed already, when I get it up to 6 i'll stop asking ppl.

Maybe I"ll come up for the day, if my law enforcement job gives me off, I live on the west coast of Florida about 2 hours from Orlando in Hernando Co.

This was suggested by a jetskijunkie member, might be cool for sunday the 20th, river run, closer to daytona, maybe some of the freeride junkies could do this in the am then head to daytona for the afternoon.

I'm still trying to find someone to take the drive with me. Every one thinks I'm nuts for going down there to ride for a weekend. Maybe I should just fly down. Are there any rental places that would let you take the ski to other locations down there?

thanks ocod, and what a nice bonus.. both of those are right near legoland ! hahaha

myself i'll probably just bring a local buddy or two along with me and book our own house/hotel room, even if I go solo from here any hotel room would be fine, i'll just chain up and bubble wrap the ski so it doesn't get stolen

i really just need a location and a date so I can start making plans, I still haven't asked the wife lol... but as long as I can find a place nearby and know where the boat ramp is, i'm good to go, its about a 4 hour drive for me.

Tempt tempt I have an f150 king ranch plenty of leg room. I work in RI right off 95 south. We could meet there and lock you car up in the yard till we get back. I will bring the double trailer.
Take shifts driving and be there in 24 hours. We leave on Thursday back on Tuesday. Down with two skis back with four. Lol

I'm not far off, my pop could drop me at a rest stop, load a ski on your trailer and be going in no time! It's 15 hours and 57 minutes from me to Legoland, just incase you were curious. That's only 5.3333333333 hours with three drivers I bet I could do my leg in 5.

I drive 80 mph 2 hours a day every day. I bet we could shave some serious time off.
