Can one of you guys start looking for a cheap place to stay? Someone has to take charge and start figuring out details. If Im going I gotta start looking for tickets.

thanks ocod, and what a nice bonus.. both of those are right near legoland ! hahaha

myself i'll probably just bring a local buddy or two along with me and book our own house/hotel room, even if I go solo from here any hotel room would be fine, i'll just chain up and bubble wrap the ski so it doesn't get stolen :)

i really just need a location and a date so I can start making plans, I still haven't asked the wife lol... but as long as I can find a place nearby and know where the boat ramp is, i'm good to go, its about a 4 hour drive for me.

lol, its not personal, and frankly as long as I have my own bed I don't really care, but I just prefer my own space, and like I said, i'll probably bring at least 1 local with me, if not two or three, and we've bunked together before on trips. But i'm down for an air hockey tournament ! lol

I'll be in but it would be one night if I can get away.
I work Saturdays so it's either leave at night 3 hrs! or early morning and do same day 180.
We need a little closer or something near the ocean!

Justforfun?!? :willy_nilly: and I thought I only had to get to 62mph(only 60.5 so far). :blush: Seriously though, I am very happy to meet him and glad your bringing him along. My 951 powered X4 will be delivered on the 24th (wife's ski;)) and of coarse I want to model the future modifications after his work.

As for the rest of ya, I'm looking forward to meeting and riding with you too. I will support any place chosen and pitch in more than my share and sleep on the floor to help this happen.

I also can bring parts and help if we have any time to tinker after dark. Drinking beer is fine with me though if all is well.
 
^ I like the idea mini parts swap / maintenance at the GTG.
Someone should bring a beater and lets turn it into a beauty queen in 2 days like the reality tv show.

West coast option Tampa/Ft Myers(10,000 islands) or East coast Coco/Jessen/Sebastian Beach.
 
Ok you guys spark my interest. Do I fly down and rent a ski? Drive down and tow my skis. What to do what to do?????? I know I can get the time out of work. Wife dont care if i go. It is freezing up here! Don't care about sleeping on a couch! If I drove my truck I could pick up one of thos cheap skis all over the place down there! Too many pros, haven't found a con yet.... Lets see if this get legs before I ask for the time off.

drive down and pick up cheap skis! it prob won't be ready to ride though, so hopefully someone has a spare, i'm trying to get my future brother in law to come with me, but if not i'll have an extra ski, but knowing mine, you're more likely to be left stranded :)

lol, ya, Chuck will come, and I haven't even given him a date yet, but i'll drag him along for sure, he's my favorite ride buddy, we argue all the time but never when we're on the water :) and ya,,, you'll need at least 61 just to beat me, but you'll need to hit 70 to beat his 95 xp... and if he gets the rxx pump figured out, i think he'll add another mph or three. right now its blowing right thru the prop so its back on the shelf.

don't sweat the gators, they won't bother you... seriously... ... 10K islands isn't a bad idea but its marco, thats wayyyy south for most people, even me,, and i'm only 1.5 hours from it....

one side ride i'd love to consider is the kissimmee river, aside from the gators IMO its some of the best river riding in the state, (although St Johns riders might argue that) but the K would be nice.. i'm thinking of doing the Junkies ride on the 15th myself.

You lucky son of a bitches, riding in December... Maybe if I get laid off I'll drive down, anyone have a place I can stay?
 
Who can I lean on for a place to crash...I'm gonna have to show on weds and leave on Tuesday....everything around that weekend is stupid expensive.
