u guys love them x4's

have you ever ridden a modded 787 x4 ?
have you ever ridden a modded 951 x4 ?

if the answer is no, then you'd just have to try one to understand...

for example, when I had my yami 760, (top speed 49 0-50 about 15 seconds) my kid loved it, she used to go out on it about once every other week, then I bought the xp, she rode it once, (top speed 60, 0-60 about 8 seconds) and never rode the yamaha again, said it was like riding an elephant !

after I got the xp she was asking me three time a week to meet her at the ramp after work.

have a ever ridden a modded ski? :(

yea i guess you're right, when i first rode the spi, i was like this is awesome, it goes ALMOST 40 mph!!!!! this is all the ski i need, then the gsx was up and running, and it was WAY better, it flies compares to the spi. I can only imagine the 787 in a smaller ski, it would prob be amazing, and then modded..... :drool5:

oh no you don't ! very few wives tolerate that ! lol

but if its in central florida there are houses and condo/hotels to rent everywhere,,, personally i prefer a house since the ski's will be safer, and I won't be waking up every two hours to look in the parking lot of the hotel to see if my ski is still there !

Haha, mine is actually pretty cool. Only one way to test to see how tolerant though :D.

well, you'd just have to try it, you can try mine as long as you promise not to sink it !,,,, mine makes stockers feel slow, and the guys that take it to the next level make mine feel slow, then the conversions make the next level guys feel slow.. it's all relative, and how hard of a grip you can get on the handlebars.

mine is cool too, as long as no sweaty noisy jet ski buddies sleep over :)

well i guess ill go... its a bit of a drive for me tho... :D

lol, why don't you and toro pick a good lake chain !!!! you local boyz should know the good spots....

ideally, nice ramp, good parking, picnic tables, decent lake(s) and if possible, a lake or chain that has waterfront houses so we can maybe book some vrbo's and live it up !

The closest chain is the one in Winter Haven. Bruce, isn't there a Clermont chain as well? Never been there myself.

thanks for the offer, that may be the time i try to clear 3 ft jumps and do 720 degree spins

theres the harris chain, the st.johns river., maybe get a place in lake mount dora and ride up? that would be fun...

the clermont chain is pretty cool, ive never jetski'd there but my boat likes it... with the water level up it should be a clean run..

Well due to the regulations set by the Pole riders at the Freeride we are not allowed to ride in the event "zone". If we were an hour or two away from there it would work perfect. I've really want to attend but I cant sit and watch people ride all weekend.

I am just throwing my 2 cents in...if my wants cannot be accommodated its just fine. Id love to meet and ride with the rest of the FL junkies though!! The funny thing is its almost 60 here in MN...the cold has not set in yet. I now I'll be jonesin' in Jan in the dead of winter.

I'm loving all the chatter. I'll be pushing all of you to try my skis. I'll make myself available whichever weekend we work out. Like Spim said.....the longer we wait the colder it's gonna get!

It seems like a great choice of a weekend if any, might be cold but we take our chances,
Lets put Jan 19th, 20th, in pencil. and let the Orlando guys help us narrow down & select an appropriate lake chain, or longer ride.
i've only ridden in orlando a couple times so i don't know diddy, but some form of lake with other lakes attached and/or a river run would be cool, and more east than west if possible.

and on the same subject, you port charlotte to tampa guys !
no reason why we can't do a weekend day (sunday's for me) somewhere between ft myers and tampa as a warmup !
I have no issues with Charlotte Harbor/Lower peace, but its shallow this time of year, i'm not that familiar with the waterways north of charlotte county except a couple of bradenton/clearwater gulf runs.

the Kissimmee river is an absolutely sick ride btw, if anybody's interested but there are quite a few hungry gators out there :) quite a few !

i'm interested in a warm up run, sundays are fine with me too, have u guys ever been to ana maria island, it looks like fun there, i've never been, nor do i even know if u can ride around down there, just looked pretty cool on google maps

Haha, good point.. About the "how hard of a grip" comment- my brother in law has a modded Skidoo 800 snowmobile and it feels like it is going to damn near rip your arms out of their sockets accelerating out of a turn!

yea, i think jan 19th sounds good for me, depending on the dog situation at home, i might be only going for the day, shall we start a list?

whoever is tentative or for sure, just copy the list and add your name

Yeah I'm liking that. It seems like a great spot to explore that would be hard to max out. Thanks for that contribution. What do the rest of you fellas think?
