thanks i just sent a email to the guy hopefully i can sort something out im in no rush the get the engine seeing as i will be waiting 2 months for it by sea shipping plus i have my spx to ride around on in the time being :thumbsup:they had search engines like searchtempest, and a billion others, but I find they don't work like they used to (that could just be me)
he said he has a 900 and a 1000, i asked him if he knew if the engine was running
i'm gonna pm u his email address
thanks nammer
looks like the shipping is going to cost $450-$500 from the quotes im getting so not sure if i would be able to buy a whole working ski with my budget and craigs list is a pain in the butt to search they should have all states linked and be user friendly lol
nam, hopefully i'll be driving tonight or tuesday on that GSX, waiting to hear back from him.
Maybe we can work something out Nam. If we really get a ride together than we can do some repairs on your skis during the idle time. Or I can bring you a "no-issues ski" and take one or two of your skis on trade depending on what ski you were after.
The best solution that I see is to keep saving Seadoos. What I mean by this is that you would sell your skis in the open market without being dishonest for a slight profit and use your ability to shop daily to replace them with fine examples that have been recently serviced by someone who knows.
u could always connect for jetski trailer to the car reverse your jetski up to a big tree put the park brake on using your ratchet tie down wrap it around the tree and connect it to your pump and winch the pump off as i mentioned its only silicone holding yours on so it should come off easy peezymatt, I would love for someone to look at my 96 gsx, I honestly haven't really touched it more than 2 days since i got it, I think i mighta taken care of the voltage regulator problem.... but after i rode it around in the water (wouldn't go over 4000rpm and maybe 15 mph), it seemed like the battery was dead (so maybe i didn't fix the voltage regulator problem)
I would be open to a trade, but it would need to be a bigger body i.e. gsx or gtx, cause my spi seems like it's gonna sink with 2 guys on it , good thing about it is it seems to only have 37ish hours on it, and has a title
as far as my 97 gsx it looks like it's up and running GREAT!, and I think i know what I need to do to fix my spi, but was having problems with that silicone on the pump

that's another genius soln, I actually got the bolts and I have wood, I'm gonna try that threading technique, but damn, urs is a good idea too, good thing i'm not an engineer, cause I can't think of anything genius

My dad just scooped it up for $350!! He is bringing it over Thanks Giving weekend and I'm going to fix and service it and send it right back with him. The trailer is nice to with the big PVC poles for launching in current.
