I hate those stupid kits. They look terrible and they are always clogging up my ebay searches. I think(hope) it will speak to someone though. Look close and you can see where they just went right over top of the stock graphics haha.

Just add a minus sign to whatever you want to exclude from your search. You can exclude as many things as you'd like in a single search and it really helps narrow things down.

Example: Seadoo XP decal -amr

Yeah it works that way here also. I wanted him to have plenty of incentive to bring them to me and it worked because he was there Monday with two freshly printed titles.

I'm happy to say I can't post the link of the 96XP I just finished. I set it out by the road and walked in to start the Cl ad. I got to about the second paragraph when this guy called and said" I'll give you 1400 cash today" I was asking 16 so I took the deal.

The 95XP I sold without a trailer for $1100 has been all over the water since and is now on FB for $1500 lol. I have three more 95XP's in a row to knock out next. It's getting a little later in the season but I'm gonna keep fighting for those remaining buyers.

The big news is that I've bought a place on the Suwannee river. It's on the upper suwannee in Live Oak right across the street from a large music park. I'm more motivated then ever now to turn the dead Seadoos into cash. I've got it a little more then half way paid for and I just want to see how far I can get.

Hey Matt, let me know if you ever need help with anything. I'm always down to learn everything I can with these two stroke engines! [emoji41]

Did your Speedster come from Valparaiso? If so I know that boat and you have plenty of 2-stroke work to do. I drove by Mike's yesterday and noticed that his SK was not there anymore and I thought of you.

Yeah that's the speedster! I think I know all the issues, but maybe you know something I don't [emoji848][emoji85]

The engines were replaced from Seadoo sometime in the boats life, not sbt or the like. Unfortunately it was all salt use and not flushed much. The cylinder drains clogged and when a freeze came along one year it cracked the water jacket. I'm pretty sure the last guy just tried to putty up JB weld over the cracks, not good.

Yeah I noticed that, keeping an eye on it and planning on doing a proper fix

Right. You can buy a 717 top end gasket kit and pull the top end. A good welder can probably fix them right. Grease the bolts when going back together with it so it will come apart for you next time.

Thanks Spim. I'm fighting hard for what few buyers are left. I sold my XP800 to a member here who is going to restore it so this place is starting to clean up finally. I can't wait to work on my own stuff but I'll wait till the flips stop selling. Once a good running ski won't bring $1200 I know to pack it away because it will bring a quick $1500 in the spring.
