exhaust clamp... how tight?

hey guys, putting new exhaust gaskets on my 96 xp. and all i have left is to tighten the big circle clamp on the pipe. but my question is how tight to do it? i dont want to break it but i also dont want an exhaust leak. and advice guys??

If you want an exact spec... what ski is it for?


Normally, I don't worry too much about it. Just make sit snug.

It also has a copper washer there, and it calls for Ultra Copper silicone I believe, I have my pipe off right now too having the welch plug repaired.

to be honest i think a exact spec wouldnt make a difference because there is no room to fit a torque wrench... so i just made it very snug
