Ok... so I have a 2012 Challenger 210 SE (twin engines). Never had the fuel filter changed (2 nd owner). Both engines kept stalling. Cold better that warm... Pumped out fuel - fresh fuel same issue. Suspected filter... looked at external filter - yellow/brown possibly starting to break down. My dilemma is do I follow the manual and only replace external filter OR do I try to take apart and replace internal filter? If I should do the internal, how do I do this - where are the instructions? It is not in the official service manual.

Is there any thing else besides fuel quality, filter and battery that would cause both engines to have issues that I'm missing?

Thank you for your expertise!! Happy boating

So I took it a part and wasn't too difficult but there was a washer and gasket inside under the filter. Not sure where they go....

I have no idea if this is the case with your boat, but I had an issue a year ago where my boat simply wouldn't start after a fun day on the water. Then it would start one day but not the next. Nearly drove me mad. I thought maybe it was the fuel pump or filter...but it turned out to the be the wiring from the pump to the ecu...specifically, where the harness attached to the ecu. It took a long time to nail it down, but once the wiring and connectors were replaced, I never had the problem again. Just something to consider.

Is it giving you a code?
