SDB, you should track down a picture of the giant Tebow snowman a family built in their front yard for the sdb network. I'm sick of hearing about tebow but this is pretty cool. i saw it on the news

what do you guys think about the fellers talking about spendin a couple grand $$$ on mods to get a couple more mph of top end speed? they is too hardcore for me. teh only time i can run full wot is flat water and how often do you get that. of course I'm old and have a bad back... just wondered what you guys thougt. course the regulars here are mostly geezers like me :)

I guess if you were into racing and all the big mods then 1-2 mph would mean a great deal to you.
I might consider a new impeller or a different grate but nothing more for me.

2G's for that small increase is just crazy for the normal family man who just wants to cruise a little or at WOT a few times.

Wish I had that money to burn.......:)

This is pretty much true, except for mods. like intake grates and impellers. When you increase performance you decrease reliability. For me I'll take reliability over performance any day.

Lou

that's the way I feel. I'm fully stock and my wishOmeter is reading 63mph which is plenty for me. I'm just out there with a lifejacket and a whistle. The hardcore guys are wearing full body armor and crash helmets.

SDB, I'll have to take a picture some day of the "antique" tools I got hanging in my woodshop that go along with your screwdrivers. Folks have yard sales on the weekends up at the lake and I pick this stuff up for 50 cents or so. Most I paid was $3 (maybe it was $5) for a really old 3 ft wood clamp. I keep wanting to start a thread "Great Garagesale Buys". I've gotten some pretty awesome old power tools for $5.

I just changed my signature to a quote from Winston Churchill. Churchill and Reagan were the two most admired political leaders of the twentieth century, both are cut from the same cloth.

kind of describes obumheads approach with iran

YES, garage sales are great for finding bargains. That's actually how I stated off buying my tools about 40 or so yrs ago.
I think I still have some..... :)

Actually now I've quit looking for tools unless i see a real bargain.
I'm looking now for St. Nichols Square Christmas items for my village set up.
I'm up to about 30 buildings and about a hundred of misc accessories.

At the time I bought my ski, I was much more comfortable than I am today...Its a struggle now with gas costing what it does. But when I do get out on the water...I play hard. I feel it for a few days, no doubt. But if I'da wanted a ride to tour the lake I'd have bought a pontoon. To each his own.

That's fine with me, it's just not how I want to spend my money. As Chester says "speed is money, how much do you want to spend".

Lou

Jake,

All that video does is prove that aliens do exist and are among us. Girls like that don't exist.

If I had something like that I wouldn't be spending much time on a SeaDoo, of course I'd probably be dead in a week, what a way to go.

I was reading a thread on adding mph....

Questions time... I get all of these ads to add 1-2". If I buy all of them, will they be cumulative???

Sink, I'm not sure about that but based on the TV Add warnings, in 24 minutes I may need to seek immediate medical attention.

I remember when these ads first came on saying if the effects last more than four hours to consult your Physician. My wife said to me "wouldn't you be uncomfortable?" and I said no, would you?

Sink, You started talking about MPH then you switched over to adding inches and got Jake and Lou all messed up, thinking about that little pill...... :)
