I think thats a wave venture.
the 760 is a good motor, although i'd prefer the 701 for long term ownership but don't let that deter you, its just that parts a slightly less plentiful, but the engine is a solid one, top ends are under $500,
yami's are more prone to oil pump issues so consider premix, just saying its an option.
thats a good price for a good ski and i'd consider it a beginner family or weekend lake house ski it won't impress your friends or neighbors but it will probably poke along for the next 100 hours just fine...
my preference of the 2 stroke wave runners is the xl models vs the ventures, probably due to color schemes being much more attractive over the ventures.
it should run 50mph maybe 1-2% more and cruise nicely in the 35-40 range with mid rpm and has a good fuel range, over 60miles if I remember the tank on the venture is the big one (just under 14 gallons i think or just under 15). i've sold a couple with solid running engines in the 1400-1600 range so 1350 is a good price, (i'd still low ball him with 1100 benjamins tho)
pro's
established hull/model, rides chop well, semi workhorse engine (701 = workhorse) acceptable top speed but on the low end of the scale, good fuel range, carves well.
con's
doesn't turn on a dime, or even a quarter, it turns on a silver dollar at best. colors age the ski last decades themes, not particularly powerful no real holeshot, as far as a 'fun' ski it rates about a 3 on a 10 scale. as far as family ski it rates about a 7.
