Those look like they are just computer jumpers for hard drives. Can find at any decent computer store or online for super cheap. Or if you have an old pc laying around rob them off the hard drive, cdrom, etc.

How many do you need? I'm sure I can find a few around the house and drop them in the mail.

Grote numbers:

2 terminal female style housing 10/pkg: 84-2006 Napa: GRO 842006
weatherpack terminal male, 18-22 ga 10/pkg: 84-2000 Napa: GRO 842000

You can also steal a connector housing from an unused spare/junk part (like an old broken beeper) and just put new terminals in it if you have the terminal tool. Terminals are roughly $11 cdn, and the housings are like, $40, but you get 10 of them...

you can also get the Deutsch connectors and terminals through them to repair the grey plugs (top of black electrical box, stator plug).

Water lines for ecwi I believe need to be an exact inside diameter and length. Braley can confirm that. I would get the matching weather pack plug at the solenoid, for a CLEAN installation.

The Factory Pipe instructions say that the 3/8" hose from the filter/solenoid assembly (remember, the solenoid is *supposed* to be mounted to the filter assembly) is a tuned length and can't be changed. I have never seen one run like this (other than my GSX when I raced it the first time). Everybody mounts the solenoids as close to the spraybar so that you get the spray immediately, and don't have to wait for the long 3/8" 'tuned' hose to fill up and then for it to drain when the water shuts off...

EVERY racer runs their Spec2 like that. Even Bill O states that's how he has always run them, and for that exact same reason.

I can't speak for ECWI on a Spec1 pipe, but I would 'assume' it would be the same or close to it.

I wish I could find another R&D cable trim for my race boat, just to empty out the hull some more. *sigh*

Thanks for all the info. Just to make sure I'm getting this right. I do need to connect the white and black wires to the solenoid, and that kit will give me the right connectors (napa) ? Also do u mideast taking some pics of your factory pipe just so I can get a visual of this. By they way if I don't like the r d trim I'll make you a good deal

Spec2 is on my race boat.. It'd have to be a $4500 deal... I'll look over facebook to see if I have a picture of my current pipe/connection.. I found these off my GSX.
FPP Recommended routing with 'tuned' hose:

Everybody else routing with solenoid right at spraybar:

Lol, I love it! Please molest any 96 XP you want. They're like a holes everyone has one. Look, I just picked this up, it's empty, bars, seat and ride plate and steering cable. Eventually it will get built but I couldn't see it get the knife.

Sorry I've been busy with family. The black and white wires can be in either direction.

.043" is a super tight squish. If they recommended that to you they must think your going to be running a good race fuel. I always go at least .050" and mid to late 50's most of the time but I try to get away with running premium pump gas.

They head mod that I had done is good for 91oct. You think I should look for the mid 50s? Would it be safer?

thanks for the info, I was just digging through a box of parts and I found a connector I can use off a junk speedo gauge

Yes GroupK is trying to give your stock ski a good performance improvement. When you bolt a Spec 2 on, it alone will make a monster out of your ski. Personally I would never go that low on squish but it's not really an option with a race pipe unless your running the best of racing fuels.

It's a trick to run a full race pipes on pump gas. You need good carbs and then you need wide squish and you have to back the timing off a little. You will also need to get the pipe for a little more water then the racers who run right on the edge.
