Hello All,
posting on a forum is all new to me and so is the PWC world. Ive purchased a well kept ski ( other than electric/ start issue) the hull, paint, fiberglass etc is all mint.
I bought for cheap a 1997 Seadoo GTI i think 717 engine? long story short the owner passed away and the grandson flew into town and sold his belongings, he as well doesnt know skis and sold as it.
It doesnt seem to have power so ive replaced started solenoid, rectifier, new battery. no corrosion on the start/ stop button elect panel and the 4 fuses in the front (2) 5 and (2) 15 are all new.. Im thinking a simple wire. This doesnt look like most pictures im seeing on google it looks very rigged so ill attach pictures. Can some one keep it simple for me and tell me if the wires are grounded, plugged incorrect? thanks!!!!!
A million thanks if you can help me get this running

If I get a chance, I'll take a pic of my 1997 GTI electrical connections and let you know. Just off top of my head, you should have two red wires going to each post of the starter solenoid. One goes to the battery and the other goes to the positive post on the battery. That black wire should either go to positive post on battery. The ground on the starter will go to negative post on battery. I'll double check for you tonight.
