I have a 96 SEADOO GTX. About 1 month ago i started it up. It ran it for a few seconds, and then shut it off. I did this 2 times a week for about 1 month. After the jet ski sat for another month without me starting it. It wont start. Every time i try to start it the jet ski backfires very loudly out of the exhaust. I checked the Rave valves. They are good. I checked the cylinder compression both are at 140. I have spark on both plugs. Both spark plugs are new. I put a spoon full of gasoline in each cylinder, and tried starting it. The jet ski would not start. when i pulled the spark plugs they looked dry after trying to start it. which makes me think that i am not getting fuel, but if i am not getting fuel then why am i getting a very loud exhaust backfire after trying to start it for about 30 seconds. any Ideas? Any help will be appreciated!
