I don't think there are many used 951 cranks out there worth a darn. Save yours for that $200 core.

Oh I didnt buy a used crank I just bought the xpl donor ski thinking it only needed a.top end and after I.got the cylinders home and reassembling the motor.thats when I saw the broke piece, ive found oem cranks for around $440 with no core required, Im assuming thats.about the going price for a new.crank, ebay has been the cheapest ive seen but havnt looked much do to family and getn last bit if Christmas shoppn done, where do yall recommend buying crank.from im only wanting oem ,

Christmas kinda wiped me out so hopefully ibcan.order my crank by the end of the month but in my free time I went ahead and started to make my carbon fiber water box, since I was at a standstill, I should have it finished in a few days and then I can make my sponson paddles gona make them about 3/4 lower than stock sponsons, out of carbon fiber also,

This is what it looks like so far same shape as an hx waterbox but twice as long because im making 2 at one time gona make inlet and outlets tmrw along with the caps for both boxes

Well im sure the weather is holding up my crank, my new crank was supposed to leave to me today but the core hasnt made it there yet, but I got my sponsons made, waterbox is getn close kinda stuck in the house since its 15degrees outside, I did walk outside long enough to get my decals on the lower half, the picture of the waterbox, it looks big its because im making 2 of them out of the one piece it was just easier

Lol, I started my 67 Fastback when I was 14. That was almost 26 years ago. I have restored another car in that time and have gone through several other mustangs in that time frame. I know what you mean about projects, I really need to learn the word "No".

That looks like a good start what you have going.

New floor pans, new trunk pans, new inner fenders ,front fenders, complete eleanor kit, the brown in the back is bare metal treatment not rust, the entire car is rust free, theres no way I would be able to find one like this again ive had it for 8-9 years now, posi disc brake rear disc brake front, complete floor and roof lined with dynomat ,firewall and inner fenders ,entire under car is undercoated

It dont look like much but if you know what your lookn at and walk around the car alot has been done

That is going to be SERIOUSLY awesome! Like best jet ski EVER kind of awesome! Wonder what jumping ocean waves will be like in something like that :)

You and me both man! I keep doing it to myself... my imagination runs away from me and takes my wallet with it lol.

I wouldnt say its the best ski ever but it should be very fun, I think with the little extra weight will help it ride a little better in bigger waves and should launch out the water pretty go, I have the comolete qsts trim system on the way just like my 787hx shoyld be here any day

Ok, best ever for jumping waves, playing around, and looking cool, I'd say it wins. Then again, I haven't rode it. What would you say the best EVER jet ski is and why?

I do like it alot and I know how the 787hx handles and how fun it is, so the same ski with 30-40extra horses should be a blast, I do like my buddy (1995hx) 951hx alot hes the one that talked me into doing the swap in the first place his build is on here to rossier pipe big pump 2tone blue and black it looks bad@$$, so without riding mine I would say his for sure, his color combo and motor setup is spot on, I hope to have mine on the water in a week or so weather has been my main issue I took the 787hx out saturday after I added some goodies to it wanted to see howbit rain and the water felt like water that was melting in an ice chest

I was gona get smokey and the bandit decals made for.the black one say I woukd have general lee and smokey and the bandit skis sittn side bybside on a trailer would look pretty cool to me anyways

yea, I've been out a few times this year too. the water was only 42F, but I was atop the huge 03 GTX, so I never even got wet. wind chill was my biggest issue as that beast got up close to 60mph. it'll be a while before I'm back on a ski, as both of mine need work but I'm tied up in my Challenger 4tec upgrade, and will be for the foreseeable future. Will be well worth it to me in the end though.

I have to agree this is gonna be the best 951 hx out there when it's finished the color is awesome and it's damn sure gonna be fast. Looking good bro. I'll call you tomorrow it's been crazy here in Miami non stop basically
