Thanks guys I appreciate the compliments! As for the paint, it was sitting around and have been waiting for the chance to use it. You guys think it looks good in the photos you should see it in person its amazing

Ok got some more progress done tonight. Carbs are mounted along with filter adapters, filters and outerwear, everything plumed and routed, MSD controller mounted up and the rear water pump mounted for the exhaust . This weekend ill check everything over again, finish my electrical, and mount my vts and jet pump

I used Rust-Oleum 2000 deg white which comes out flat. Then I use the Rust-Oleum 500 deg clear coat. The clear coat turns the bright white to the factory color very nicely. Only thing that sucks is that if you coat to heavy it gets to yellowed so you have to do slow coats followed by a medium/heavy final coat.

Sweet, always like to see what guys are using. I have some U-Tech I had mixed at the local autobody supply house for my 95 engine, one of these days.............

Looks great!! My only worry is the vinyl braided tubing you used for the oil lines. Did you get it at lowes or Home Depot? If so and it is vinyl it will turn hard as a rock and eventually leak from one of the connections. I did this on my 96xp restore a few years ago and turned into a mess in my hull and a leak that took forever to find.

I used it too. I still need to replace it its no leaking but I know eventually it will fail

Its Nylon hose designed for fuel and oil. I ordered it from a motorcycle store so hopefully it will be ok. I did some research before deciding on it so hopefully it works out.

Thanks for the heads up guys ill keep a eye on it and report back
