My initial thought is that you’ve lost a balance shaft bearing. Try to get a camera down behind the engine and look for a hole or cracks in the case...
Agreed. Counterbalance shaft bearing. Sounds a lot like rod knock on a car. Happened to me twice, grenaded the lower case. Look for chunks of aluminum under the engine

The wrist pin is a possibility, but it sure sounds like my 787 did last summer when I lost the balance shaft bearing. I’d look for metal in the hull and stick a camera back there before I pulled the head to check piston play...

Take a look at my picture in the first post. This happened to me twice this year - the engines are getting old, if they never had new bottom ends it's only a matter of time. That bearing is greased and sealed from the factory, it does not get lubrication while the engine is running so it has a limited lifespan.
