2004 Sea Doo GTI oil tank and system full of water!

Hi guys new to the forum from Old Forge, Pa. looking for some help and pics.

I have a new to me 04 GTI 717 with a major oil system problem. The tank and the complete system is full of water. It doesn't look at all to have been sunk. I found a line coming off the head which sure looks like a water outlet routed to the oil tank. Anyone can help me with the proper line routing? Is this line supposed to go to the oil tank? I know I'm going to have to flush everything, but need to make sure line routing is correct.

Wow, no! The previous owner really screwed that up.
No water lines go to the oil tank, ever.
The cooling hoses, one goes to the pipe the other goes to a fitting on the side of the hull so you can see water flowing. It is known as a "Pisser".
Nothing goes on the check valve on the oil tank, it is just a blank outlet that lets air in as the oil level drops.

You are going to have to drain the entire oil system including the tank, oil lines and rotary valve chamber inside the engine and flush with a solvent like gasoline/diesel.

There's 2 lines coming off the fitting I'm holding. Does it have 2 pisser's? Or should one just be capped off?

As I said, one goes to the pisser the other goes to the pipe, there is a second 1/8" pipe fitting adjacent to the 1/2" fitting.
Unless someone installed the wrong pipe when they messed with that engine.
Your pipe and engine should be silver in a 2004 GTI.

He got it from the parts manual, get it . Its free online and it helped me get my ski back together, great guide for hoses and such.

They definitely don't run good with water injection. Only had 115psi compression in both so I pulled the top end. The cylinders are scored deep and beyond boring. Anyway ordered a top end kit with cylinders.
