Battery is not holding a charge anymore. Not sure what battery to choose. Purchased one that was similar in size from autozone to work on a whim. Ski would not start/fire but would turn over just fine; display showed 12v Power Low although seemed to turn over normal, CCA of battery was 325 and it was made for ATV/PWC etc. Battery that was in it (bought ski used) does not list it's CCA or MCA. I took that battery back and am now looking for a recommendation/help.

Thanks in advance!

I am shopping around for a new battery too, and found that with Sea Doo battery replacements, you are best off to go with whatever the most expensive one on the shelf is, because that is the one that will work.

All kidding aside, you have to have around 280 CCA, and 19 Amp-hours (Ah) as a minimum. Its quite convoluted, because no one seems to have the same part number, but if you go with something close to 16CL-B, and use the above specifications, you should be fine.

Thats my experience anyways......also, this is not one part you want to skimp out on, but note that you will only get 1 - 2 years out of a battery anyways.

Thanks for the reply. So really the only 2 metrics I am concerned about is CCA and Ah? What about Amps? 1-3? (not amp hours)

Thanks,
