going to drain the CB cavity soon, so made these blocks of wood to elevate the engine off the plastic pan for draining... plus making it a bit easier to work on them...
and drain plugs there are!...:lol:

I understand the need to raise the motor for easy access but don't you want the drain hole lower than the rest of the motor for easier draining?

Or is this set-up just to work on it and you will adjust it later?

take a closer look at the 1st pic. There are 3 blocks of wood and the engine is slightly pitched towards the rear. It should work good... see the one under the Mag housing mount tab?

AHHHH, Now i see the wood. I was looking at the bottom center at first.
Good job at making the wood the same angle as the brackets.
Wish my 96 had a drain hole. :(

Looks good, but you should have kept with the lateral marker system (buoys). RED, Right, RETURNING (fuel return) and Green (entering fuel delivery). Just kidding.
