Ok, here's a pic, caught a dead raccoon head on the Jersey turnpike at Florence. Caught it with the Yukon and the trailer tire. For the record.......it was already laying there dead and it snuck up on me in the dark. I can't believe I didn't take any pics of the boat in the water.

Wow, Andy. You have been busy.
Between knee surgery in October, another shoulder surgery in February, and one of my kids having some persistent health issues, I had to ignore the Challenger and the forum for MONTHS.
Almost have my head back above water, so digging in to the Challenger again. :)
Wondering if any of the folks that said they were "in" for a jet boat get together a few months ago are still feeling up for it?
Scheduling will be tough for me, but I really like the idea.

I'd be down for a get together/ride! I don't have too much going on this summer.....yet. June is kind of borked.

hey Suke.
I'm in Burlington. Went to Apex High many moons ago and later lived in Fuquay... so I know the Springs well. Or at least I did years ago. I hear it has changed a LOT since I left the area a decade or so ago.
I still haven't sorted out my schedule for the weekend. My wife is injured and stuck in bed, so I have to stay pretty close to home and herd the kids.
I was thinking of heading to Lake Cammack with the Challenger, though haven't decided if it would be Saturday or Sunday.

Anyone else that is in the area, speak up if you are interested.

Also, I hate to hijack PR's thread.
Is there a more appropriate place to coordinate this sort of thing?

OH sweet! I thought you were out in Charlotte for some reason. This weekend and next weekend blows for me, but we should definitely plan something this summer. IDoSeaDoo lives in Apex, so there's plenty of NC peeps around. I need to really get my XP down to the lake to see if I've fixed my bogging issue. Holly Springs has blown up!!! Even in the 7 years I've lived here it's gone nuts. I live about a mile from the boat ramp at Harris Lake.

And you haven't been out yet? I would never have time to dry off.

They only have 2 ramps and it's hella busy all the time. It's a big fishing lake, so lots of bass boats that think they own the place. They're huge dicks about leaving the trailer in the water while I beach the ski. I've gotten in a shouting match before with some assclown that felt I was taking up HIS space. What is really boils down to is I'm afraid I'll get out there and get stranded. :banghead:

hahahha, it`s all work brotha!...
the weather here has been nuts, hot hot hot, rain, hurricanes, pretty much typical NC summers... sometimes even to hot to take the boat out.
The shiba`s have a good time when we slow down and they can walk about the boat and sniff! lol...

Yup it's hot 10 months out of the year. Then cool for one, cold for one, then back to hot.
