Loosen the clamp on the Carbon Seal (CS) boot that is attached to the hull. Move the boot toward the CS and tighten the clamp. Then put a zip tie in the gap you made behind the boot. This keeps the boot from sliding back where it was.

Will have to try once i've replaced the stupid trailer winch.. broke the handle on it this weekend.

It crazy how much it will cavitate with just the carbon seal being worn. I'm gonna test this fix out this weekend before I pull it apart to replace it for real.
