Uttering these words sealed your fate. :-)

    Reinstalling seat piston

OK, now I have to tell the embarrassing part: So I made the cut strategically so that I only lost a few inches of the long strap (not the ratchet side). No big deal, I figured, how often do I use the whole length anyway! What I failed to mention, until now, is that I was doing this repair on...

    Reinstalling seat piston

I finally got around to this project again. I had taken the boat in for some service and asked them to tackle this while it was in the shop. They told me they couldn't do it and even claimed they contacted the nearby SeaDoo dealer who also said it was virtually impossible to replace. That...

    Drying out the seat cushion?

I wonder if I could drill some holes in some semi-ridgid hose and snake it up under the cushion somehow?? Then connect that to my compressor to get some airflow in there...

    Drying out the seat cushion?

I'm going to take a look tonight and consider removing some of the staples and vinyl. The guys at the shop recommended I drill a few holes in the plastic under the cushion. I was hoping to find some validation here that their idea is a good one...or not.

    Drying out the seat cushion?

This is related to my 2010 WP 215, but I suspect he the solution isn't specific to a specific model, so I'm posing here. Also, I'm sure this has been discussed before, but looking up "water" and "seat" or "drying" has led me to WAY too many results that are NOT related. I flipped the boat...

    Reinstalling seat piston

I'm having a hard time imagining how I'll get the damn strap removed once it's in there. But I trust your guidance and will give this a whirl. I ordered the parts today so I'll report back by next weekend, hopefully. Thanks guys.

    Reinstalling seat piston

Ok. I get the idea of the ratchet strap to compress, but doesn't it snap back as soon as you release it? Do you have to reinstall with the strap on then remove somehow?

    Reinstalling seat piston

This is a dumb scenario I've got myself in...hoping someone has done this before. There is a piston to assist holding the weight of the seat on my Wake Pro 215. The bracket on the top of that piston broke so I bought a replacement and tried to install. I could not move the seat and hinge...

    Ordering SOLAS Srz-Cd-13/18A Impeller

Aluminum nose cone was much nicer than OEM. Used it and all is good. Thanks again.

Go Pro Setup with 2013 215 Wake Pro

OG1: You should be selling these. Both are awesome contraptions. I've been wanting to get a GoPro to use with our Wake Pro (primarily used for towing tubes) but haven't pulled the trigger due to mounting and not being smart enough to figure it out on my own.

Run engine while jet pump removed?

I ran it for a couple of seconds at idle and the drive shaft started wobbling pretty badly so I shut it down. I really just wanted to hear it start since my wear-ring-jamming-in-the-pump issue caused it to die completely. The new impeller is due to arrive on Thursday so I'll just have to wait...

    Ordering SOLAS Srz-Cd-13/18A Impeller

I'm not sure that I care which one goes on there. I just want to make sure I have all the parts I need for the job. I kinda figured it came with it, but all the online descriptions for these impellers suck. Thanks for the clarification.

    Ordering SOLAS Srz-Cd-13/18A Impeller

I'm about to click SUBMIT on an order for this impeller. Do these things include the required boot since I suspect the stock unit won't fit?

Run engine while jet pump removed?

I have the pump removed on my Wake 215 while I wait for a replacement wear ring and impeller to arrive. Is there any reason I cannot run the engine while the pump is removed? I wouldn't run it beyond idle, I just want to test a couple of things since it wasn't running well when the wear ring...

Impeller and (?) shaft replacement on Wake Pro 215

Ok, I'm a dumbass. It wasn't PVC, its the white wear ring that's ripped apart and jammed in the pump. It's a horrible looking mess. Not sure what I sucked up to cause this. That said, I'm still interested in feedback on the shaft questions.

Impeller and (?) shaft replacement on Wake Pro 215

I have a hard piece of plastic/PVC jammed in my pump. Picked it up doing about 60 and basically came to a quick stop. I've had things in the pump before (rope, sticks, etc) but never like this one. I'm going to have to remove the pump to dislodge this and I'm thinking of replacing the impeller...

2010 WakePro 215 - Issues with cruise since software update

I had a bunch of work done in the fall when I reached the 100 hour mark, including a rebuild of the supercharger. The guys at the shop mentioned a software update was performed as well. Some things definitely changed with this new software, specifically related to how the cruise control...

Problem with iBR on 2010 WakePro 215

I'm having an intermittent problem with the iBR system on my 2010 WP 215. The iBR light is coming on along with a check engine indicator. When this happens I lose the ability to go into neutral or reverse. When I turn off and restart the engine, the indicators usually go away and everything is...
