Revving out of control after new rebuild installation...Help!

Yes I did it slowly stopped where could it be, the air leak, rebuilt by full bore and I used all new gaskets made sure all was tight what's the most likely place seems like it would have to be a huge leak to do that. It's the 951 seadoo 2 stroke with a pulse line that goes on the engine I was...

Revving out of control after new rebuild installation...Help!

Thanks is advance!! Bottom line to simplify it...I heard air leak will cause this I shouldn't have any of those that I know of... I checked the carbs, looked inside with a mirror and there closed like they should be at idle...even after I cut the gas off and let it run out I tried to start it...

What's the best oil to use during the break in period?

Thanks Thanks for the info I've read where if you use synthetic oil during the break in the small shavings of metal are bonded to the engine rather than being able to go out when broke in. I'm going to break it in twice as long before doing anything over a few seconds of full throttle at a...

What's the best oil to use during the break in period?

Just wondering, I've been searching for break in oil for 2 stroke engines. Just want to have it so when I'm done with the rebuild I'm ready. I know they say you shouldn't use synthetic oil but what should be used? Thanks

HELP, I Blew a piston after rebuilding carbs

Live and learn When the head gasket blew the first time you could tell it blew but this time it looked fine that's why it was so weird but it blew out last time as in exhaust pushing the water out and I wasn't even going but 35 or 40 with clogged carbs and bad diaphragms in the carbs and didn't...

HELP, I Blew a piston after rebuilding carbs

That's it!!! You got it I bet, I saw some water in the front cylinder when I took it apart and the plug instead of being gaped was pushed, bent down touching the other part of the plug I couldn't figure out how that got bent when the piston couldn't have touched it and the back one was the one...

    Premix conversion kits??

I've heard all about the peace of mind that you have premix instead of oil injection, I hope someone knows where they have them because I can't find them online, they have a block off plate and stuff and also I'm not sure but I read that you have to leave the oil tank in for the rotary valve...

HELP, I Blew a piston after rebuilding carbs

Overheating before was a water hose that came off. The overheating was from a water hose that came off the first time...at that time it may have weakened some parts and I didn't know it but it has never cleaned the cylinder head and piston down to the metal like it did this time almost like no...
