Yeah. I saw that thread in my search. The hood stays propped up; the problem is the release latch that holds it shut and locks to the post. Seems like the threads maybe part of the fiberglass hood mold and just break loose and spin when the bolts are turned. I know these latches break all the time and was hoping someone found a way to get these bolts out without doing too much damage. One came out and I tried small vise grips on the other with no luck. These things get frustrating and I had to walk away last night or I'm sure I would have cracked the hood prying my large screwdrive behind the latch to lock it up and break the threads loose. no that's a runon sentence.....
