So I decided to take my 95 gtx to the beach for some fun in the sun. Made the 3 hour drive on Saturday and rode it as soon as I got there with no problems
Get back on the water today and she's bogging down really bad. It will on get up and go after about a minute or two of WOT. Pulled up to the beach and popped the hood and immediately checked the fuel filter. It was slightly dirty so I cleaned it out anyway. When I went to reinstall the filter I noticed my fuel tank sending unit was dancing around. I said to myself that ain't right. Pulled up a picture of a stock tank and boom it has a filler neck. Mines apparently broke off some how some way. So my question is could this broken filler neck be causing the bogging issue??? And now the good news. Called up BRP and it turns out my seadoo had a recall for the gas tank and it was never completed. Sorry for the long post yall. Don't beat me up too bad. Happy 4th of July. 20220703_135111.jpg

that fracture will not cause your symptoms,,,you could be out of gas?,,,that white filter is rarely fully blocked,,,that is not your issue,,,what you need to do,,,is look into the bottom of the water/fuel separator and look for water,

Actually, a fractured filler neck will cause those symptoms. I didn't think it would either, but after going through the entire fuel system and replacing everything, I pulled that filler hose on my 95 SP and the filler neck was cracked. Replaced the tank and the problem disappeared. Not saying it will fix yours, but it did fix mine
