So I decided to take my 95 gtx to the beach for some fun in the sun. Made the 3 hour drive on Saturday and rode it as soon as I got there with no problems
Get back on the water today and she's bogging down really bad. It will on get up and go after about a minute or two of WOT. Pulled up to the beach and popped the hood and immediately checked the fuel filter. It was slightly dirty so I cleaned it out anyway. When I went to reinstall the filter I noticed my fuel tank sending unit was dancing around. I said to myself that ain't right. Pulled up a picture of a stock tank and boom it has a filler neck. Mines apparently broke off some how some way. So my question is could this broken filler neck be causing the bogging issue??? And now the good news. Called up BRP and it turns out my seadoo had a recall for the gas tank and it was never completed. Sorry for the long post yall. Don't beat me up too bad. Happy 4th of July.
