xp throttle problem

The hex screw that holds the throttle lever in place came out, when attempting to put back in it just turns in the hole and will not thread into the handle bar. There does not seem to be threads in the bar to screw into. I did notice that a nut fell out onto the ground, I cant imagine how you would get a nut inside the handle bar to screw into. On the driver side left, I unscrewed the hex screw to see if it has thread and it does. So now the throttle side is loose. Has anyone had issues with this? Not sure if the previous owner had it rigged up or not.

Yeah the nut goes inside.

I wouldn't say people have a "Problem" with it... it's just a loose bolt. If the nut fell out... you can get it back in.
