The guy says he would take 6k. Says he just wants his money back. Has no time for the boat anymore. I have a X20 obviously but this seems like a crazy good deal. Everything looks in great shape. He say he has a ballest that goes in the locker which I kinda want to go see just to be nosey cause I would like to have one.

The catch is he says its winterized and doesn't have time to let anyone test drive it for several weeks. He claims it obviously isn't a hot commodity because nobody has bought it yet. He just wants his money back out of it. This boat price wise brings 12k in average condition. It "looks" well maintained. Just seems sketchy like a motor is blown. What do you guys think

Sounds sketchy to me too, but at that price if it looks good cosmetically, its still worth it. If i was interested, i would go into it expecting the motor to be shot and use that as a bargaining tool to get it even cheaper.

We have a ballast with ours that we never use. It's a Fat Sac that is perfectly sized for the ski locker. It has a 12v pump and is great for those that don't want to commit to giving up space for ballast.

We have not used it, as we usually fill our ski locker with soft-sided coolers. It's our own form of "ballast" In fact, the running joke is when someone asks what you are doing while peeing in the lake, the common answer is, "I'm losing ballast"

You can search Amazon for Fat Sacs and there are tons of temp ballast options. I have even seen people ratchet strap this animals on the swim deck to one side to allow for a good surf wake. Off centered ballast is what is needed to surf well.

Good luck!
