X20 Battery Question

Yeah it is a lot more simple than you think. The battery does ground to the engine. I didnt show that because i thought that was a given. Battery 1 grounds to the engine, and battery 2 connects to battery 1.

Red wire from the engine....is like everything else....it needs power from that common post on the switch.
 
Ok thanks! That was my assumption to take off the one Blk ground going from engine to battery 2 and connect it to battery 1 for jumper.

Lastly I'm still not sure about the small Blk ground that's spliced into battery 2 switch. I'm thinking they could have spliced it in.

Would it be best to go ahead and connect that ground as well to battery 1? No idea what all the extra connectors was for. Thanks for your help guys. This forum is great
