Wrong OIL!!!

I just got a sinking feeling from a phone call I got from my son. He took the seadoo out and put the wrong oil in the tank. He put regular outboard 2 cycle in it. It is the DI and takes synthetic oil. He called my after saying it wasn't running right. He said he went to pull some buddies on the tube and it didn't have any power. It stalled out a few times. I told him to put it back on the trailer immediately and bring it home. Now my question is how do I fix this? Any suggestions would be a great help. Am I screwed??

drain the oil in the tank replace with sea-doo 2 cycle synthetic hook up to a hose and run for 10-15 minutes at around 3,000 rpm. remember do not introduce the water until after you start the motor and run for 15 seconds. or you will have bigger problems then just wrong oil. it will not hurt your motor too bad putting the wrong oil in. just as long as it isn't 4 stroke oil.

I really appreciate the advice. I have a hand pump to pull the oil out. But is there a easier way of draining that I'm not aware of?

I want to drop the tank. IF I can figure how to do this, will i need to bleed air from the system?

I am having a similar problem. I recently drained the take myself without removing it from the hull. However i cannot seem to get the 'cork like' end back into the oil tank. any suggestions?

I have the same problem, my 17 year old son added regular 2 stroke oil this weekend, with the same results. If I pump out or dump oil, do I have to drain from oil pump. I was also advised to put some new oil in with gas for extra protection after dumping and refilling oil tank. Is anyonr aware of a procedure list on doing this, or maybe pics of what I am looking for, for oil pump.
